The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing new client relationships, and guiding the sales team to achieve revenue targets. This role involves extensive travel and requires a proactive professional who can bring fresh ideas and strong business contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and guide the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to IT services.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, industry connections, and innovative approaches.
- Travel extensively to meet prospective and existing clients, attend industry events, and build long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor team performance, provide regular coaching, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
- Stay updated on IT services industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, specifically in IT products and services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing and mentoring a sales team.
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English; proficiency in Hindi is an advantage.
- Ability and willingness to relocate to Coimbatore (if not already based locally).
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, innovative, and results-oriented with strong business acumen.
